Comprehensive rack mount case range in 1U, 2U and 3U sizes. These conform to international standards DIN 41494 and IEC 291-1. Each 19 inch rack mount case is manufactured in a combination of aluminium diecastings, extrusion profiles and fabricated parts which provide a lightweight yet robust construction suitable for many different types of electronics equipment. Ergonomic comfort handles mounted to the front of the rack cases allow fast and comfortable installation and removal from the rack. Other options include removable or fixed front panels, chassis trays and tilt feet for desktop use. The range also includes 3U x 19" instrument cases for mounting standard 19 inch chassis and 3U subracks. METCASE enclosures can be supplied fully customised with all the modifications required to fit the PCBs, connectors, displays and controls.
