Stylish And Versatile New VERSAMET 1U Rack Case Range

OKW’s METCASE division has launched its sleek new VERSAMET 19” 1U rack case range for rack mounted and desktop electronics equipment.

VERSAMET’s ergonomic front panel handles allow comfortable and fast installation of the unit in 19” racks and cabinets – and easy removal from the rack during upgrades and servicing.

VERSAMET aluminium rack mount enclosures conform to the DIN and IEC standards for 19” equipment. Typical applications includenetworking and communications equipment, industrial computers, sound and studio systems, laboratory instruments and industrial control systems.

These stylish and versatile enclosures are supplied fully assembled. Each rack mount case comprises a standard 19” anodised aluminium front panel, folded top cover, base panel and removable rear panel. All the assembly screws are hidden on the underside to give these electronic enclosures a modern, clean and screwless appearance.

The base panel can be removed separately and includes mounting points for PCBs, assemblies and the accessory tilt feet. The rear panel is recessed to provide protection for power inlets, connectors and on/off switches.

VERSAMET 19 inch rack cases are available in two standard sizes: 1U x 165mm deep and 1U x 265mm deep. Other sizes can be made on demand with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces. The cases are painted in a modern fine textured polyester paint in either light grey, RAL 7035 or jet black, RAL 9005.

Prices for the VERSAMET 19 inch rack enclosures start at £56.66. METCASE also offers a full customising service on these enclosures with machining, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for the electronic components.
