Unidesk Desktop Enclosures with Ergonomic Sloping Front Panel

METCASE the metal enclosures division of OKW has introduced the UNIDESK range of aluminium terminal enclosures. These ergonomic sloping front enclosures are designed for desktop and wall mounted electronic systems.

Typical applications will include point-of-sale terminals, medical and wellness equipment, machine controllers, and test and measurement devices etc.
 
UNIDESK desktop enclosures are manufactured from two diecast aluminium end panels and extruded front and rear profiles. The cases are supplied pre-assembled and painted in light grey, RAL 7035.

The base panel is removable and includes mounting points for fitting M3 PCB screw pillars. Four non-slip rubber feet are included. An accessory wall mounting kit is also offered.

These instrument enclosures are available in three standard models with external dimensions of 200 x 200 x 102, 300 x 200 x 102 and 400 x 200 x 102 mm.
 
Anodised aluminium front panels are offered as accessories, and are suitable for mounting membrane keypads, push-button controls and display modules. The cases are provided with both M3 and Torx® T10 stainless steel fixing screws.  

The UNIDESK aluminium enclosures can be sealed to IP 54 against water splashes and dust by fitting the four ‘L’ shaped foam gaskets supplied for the front and base panel apertures.

OKW can supply these enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and displays etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be manufactured in different widths and painted in special colours. Standard prices start at £86.
