Versamet 19” Rack Mount Enclosures – Stylish & Versatile

OKW’s METCASE division have launched the new VERSAMET 19” rack mount enclosures which conform to the DIN and IEC standards for 19” equipment, and are suitable for both rack mounted and desktop equipment. Typical applications will include test and measurement devices, audio and video systems and networking and communications equipment.

Versamet enclosures are stylish and versatile aluminum housings which are supplied fully assembled and consist of a standard 19” anodised aluminium front panel, folded top cover, base panel, and a removable rear panel. All the assembly screws are hidden on the underside of the enclosure to provide a modern clean and screw-less appearance.

The base panel can be removed separately, and includes mounting points for PCBs, assembles and the accessory tilt feet. The rear panel is recessed to provide protection for power inlets, connectors, on/off switches etc.

VERSAMET 19” rack cases are available in two standard sizes: 1U x 165 mm deep and 1U x 265 mm deep, other sizes can be made on demand with a minimum order quantity of just 10 pieces. The cases are painted in a modern fine textured polyester paint in either light grey or jet black.

METcase also offers custom enclosures with machining, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for the electronic components.
