Modern enclosures in six sizes

METCASE the metal enclosures division of OKW has introduced the UNIMET range of aluminium instrument enclosures. These have been designed for housing test and measurement devices, machine controllers, network peripherals and medical technology.

UNIMET enclosures are modern and robust housings consisting of a diecast front bezel which locates onto a fabricated case body. The bezel is painted in mid grey, RAL 7040 and case body is in light gray, RAL 7035. The base panel can be removed separately, and includes mounting points for PCBs and assemblies.

The removable rear panel is recessed and is ideal for mounting power inlets, connectors and on/off switches. Four self-adhesive non-slip feet are also included in the kit. Moulded ABS tilt feet are available as accessories.

These aluminium enclosures are available in a range of six standard sizes with external dimensions from 230 x 190 x 50 mm to 350 x 260 x 150 mm. All models can be supplied with a robust and attractive tilt/swivel carry handle bar, which indexes at 30° intervals.

Anodised aluminium front panels are available as accessories and include trims to hide the fixing screws.

METCASE offers a full customising service on these enclosures with bespoke sizes, CNC punching, milling and drilling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing fully finished enclosures ready for fitting the electronic components. Special sizes can also be made to order.
