NEW CATALOGUE UPDATES MAKE SPECIFICATION EASIER

We’ve updated our METCASE catalogues to help you find the perfect aluminium enclosures for your electronics. Ten fully revised individual model catalogues are now available to download from our website, with updates to the remaining older catalogues coming soon.

Each new catalogue provides detailed insights into the benefits and technical features of a specific model. You’ll find exploded views, along with guides to all the standard variants, sizes, colours and accessories.

There are also examples showing how each model can look when customised. It takes surprisingly little effort to transform a standard enclosure into a unique solution tailored to your specific requirements. A bit of machining, a few custom colour highlights and some digital printing are often all that’s needed—making customisation viable even for low-volume orders.

For the first time, every new catalogue is available in five languages: UK English, US English (with dimensions in inches), German, Spanish, and French. The relevant language versions are available on the METCASE UK, USA, Australian, German, Swiss and French websites respectively.

You can download the catalogue for each model by visiting the Technical Info page and clicking the Catalogues tab. The 10 new sections range from COMBIMET 19" to UNIVERSAL CARRY HANDLE BARS.

Alternatively, use the Product Name dropdown menu (top right) to select your preferred model. Then simply scroll down to the Catalogue Documents tab.

ADVANCED 19" RACK CASES AND DESKTOP MINI-RACKS

Three of the new catalogues feature enclosures for 19" electronics: COMBIMET 19" and METTEC 19" rack cases and INSTRUMET 19" mini-racks. Each model offers its own technical benefits – and a wide choice of standard and customisation options.

COMBIMET is our most popular range of 19" rack cases because it’s most versatile and also the most cost-effective. Its simple but smart design offers many technical advantages at a very compelling price point.

The flat bezel-less front makes COMBIMET cost-effective to manufacture, even in custom heights, widths and depths – and we pass those savings on to you the customer. Many of the custom sizes and variants that have been requested over the years have proven so popular that they’ve now become available as standard.

ELEGANT INSTRUMENT ENCLOSURES FOR DESKTOP ELECTRONICS

Five of the new catalogues are dedicated to desktop and portable instrument enclosures, notably the premium TECHNOMET range. This highly attractive ‘next level’ model has been designed and manufactured to fine tolerances. Diecast bezels fit flush with the main case body for a smooth, stylish appearance. Snap-on trims conceal the fixings.

Other desktop models include UNICASE, UNIDESK, UNIMET and UNIMET-PLUS. These last two models are both available with a tilt-swivel carry handle that can also be used as a desk stand. The handle can be adjusted in 30° increments to create the optimum angle for viewing and operation. In this respect, it is similar to the diecast UNIVERSAL CARRY HANDLE BARS that can be fitted to other enclosures.

NEW VESA-MOUNT ALUMINIUM ENCLOSURES

Discover lots of downloadable information about our advanced TECHNOMET-CONTROL VESA-mount enclosures. In addition to the new catalogues in English, German, Spanish and French, you can also download datasheets for mounting Siemens, Beijer and Turck Banner displays.

TECHNOMET-CONTROL is designed to fit standard VESA MIS-D 100 mountings – making it easy to fit to control arms and wall brackets. The enclosures have been designed to house Siemens TP displays (KTP400 to TP1200) and they’re also compatible with other manufacturers’ screens, notably Turck Banner (TX705 to TX810) and Beijer (X2). 

The enclosures feature the same design language as TECHNOMET with flush-fit front and rear bezels and snap-on trims that hide all the fixing screws. A clever internal extrusion system makes TECHNOMET-CONTROL cost-effective to manufacture and simple to customise – with plenty of space for connectors.
